A Fun & Exciting Atmosphere

A nice and lively bistro and bar in Melbourne way, but unpretentious, lively but never overwhelming with a hum of conversation as guests bask in the electric energy of Melbourne’s city centre. This is the kind of place where you can take your gal pals, drag sisters, or even your obscure book club and still feel at ease.

Super Easy Location In The Heart Of The City

Situated smack bang in Melbourne’s city centre, Henry and Fox is as convenient as it is fabulous. Have you spent the day exploring the Royal Botanic Gardens, taking those selfies on the Yarra River, or shopping till you drop along Collins Street? Perfect. Henry and Fox is is one of your potential pitstops before heading off to an event at the Arts Centre (dancing the night away at one of Melbourne’s gay clubs.)

You’ll find it nestled on Little Collins Street, making it a stone’s throw from pretty much everything that matters in this iconic city. Whether you’re in heels, sneakers, or something suede and bespoke, it’s an easy spot to venture to.

How About The Eat!

What we noticed on our last trip to Melbourne is that many everyday restaurants and bistros around town serve the same food, at quite ridiculous prices. We counted 12 restaurants in one day that served “salt and pepper squid with garlic aioli” and of the couple we tried during our stay, it felt like it was all from one kitchen. But not at the Henry and Fox. The food served here is authentic and feels like real food you want to have everyday, be it for a bunch or an early evening bite before heading out.

The menu is quite large, bistro/restaurant style, and all at pretty reasonable prices, so tuck in and order a feast. The menu covers a pretty large breakfast selection for any traveller wanting to start the day and fuel up, though to a lunch and dinner menu that has a large selection to please from traditional sharing dishes and appatissers to salad to burgers and pastas. If you want something a bit more there is a great main selection to induge in.

The Perfect Spot for Group Gatherings

Whether you’re planning a birthday bash, a boozy brunch, or simply catching up with your squad, Henry and Fox Knows is a great option to try. Its nice outdoor terrace is great for drinks and in side a comfortable space for groups.

A Place to Rest Your Heels and Stay for Dessert

Don’t think we forgot dessert. From the Pistachio and Cognac tiramisu to the Limoncello and biscoff cheesecake, the dessert menu is sure to be please and indulge in!
